@lydiaconwell Why? If you don't follow them they won't populate your timeline. :P

@lsitongia It's got a lot more features than just 'microblogging', yes. If memory serves, they were doing a more Facebook-like approach, including calendars and suchlike. It's also awfully buggy imo, as interacting with Friendica-servers is kinda hit and miss in replying to their posts and vice versa. That's my experience anyway.

No clue why they'd be slow though.

@conradludgate Because not everybody is on Mastodon. The Fediverse consists of many servers, and also many software. There is Misskey, Pleroma, Friendica, and more other software that can connect to the Fediverse.

@benev You're posting something into the Fediverse, so that's that.

@meneer Ik zal je maar op je woord geloven aangezien ik geen bier drink. :D

@Sphinx That is not very far off. In fact, it's pretty accurate, lol. I've done all of them except number four, simply because I don't drink, lol.

@meneer Lol, dan heb ik toch liever het Groninger volkslied. :D

Just returned from King's Day flea market in town. It was very busy! I wouldn't be surprised if half the city went there. The other half went to various music stages in town, loud enough for me to feel the music.

It is the one day in the year where people can put all their rubbish on display and try to sell them, lol. I enjoyed seeing all that trash. :D I think there was a bit more trash than usual thanks to Corona the past 2 years, people had been saving up. :P

I expanded my Loekie de Leeuw collection with yet another lion plushie. And a very old Sjors & Sjimmie comic. Total damage? 1 euro. :P

Also had delicious fat fries with mayo from de Belg, in a puntzak. I'm fine now for the coming 5 years with greasy food. Burp. It'll just be a sandwich for dinner later. :P

I'm glad that King's Day seems to be back to normal. Let people enjoy themselves.

@Chocoabyss You could shove the bots to a different timeline that you can make in the lists.

@rivengodwind I hope so, but we still need to get past the slog that is Rohan though, heh. That area's way too huge. Maybe we'll skip by a bit via skirmishes.

@rivengodwind I think we already have everything of LotRO up until uh... yeah with Helm's Deep at least. But we might give it a go again sometime. Just that once we hit the Rohan area we're like 'bleeeeh' because all you get to do is stupid quests and no epic feeling anymore.

I'd say the height of LotRO was Mines of Moria, that was such an epic feeling when we entered it for the first time. I miss that time.

We hadn't played WildStar much, way too fast and colorful I kept losing track of my direction. I don't think we got around to trying its housing and now we can't anymore, alas.

And yeah, the leeway in LotRO was a nice addition, it did help. But it's still a very limited amount of items you can place in the homes.

@aurynn A lingering cold which flares up now and then? It sucks.

@oklomsy@social.linux.pizza Guess they consider it a security risk.

@Omniscion

Other: My instance has specific features added that's not covered by any app, so I just use the web version instead.

The mobile layout of the web version is very good, though, so I'm not really missing out on anything. I can even swipe between tabs which is great.

Maybe I miss out on notifications, but I don't want to get spammed by notifications on my phone anyway so it all turns out well.
