I've resigned as moderator on Qoto.org since 29-aug-2023.
This one is now a backup account, my activities on Qoto will be low.

Used to be on another mastodon server regularly, but it's been inaccessible since November 2020. So I've decided to join Qoto instead! I like the features this server has to offer.

@freemo I just pronounce it as se-an (sejan)... Dutch style. :P
@ErikaDesign Heh, welcome back. ;) Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it again eventually. ;)
@sean What'd I miss? I can't find anything about this?
@sergeant@mstdn.social You know, that actually should be NSFW lol.

A reminder for anyone new to mastodon who might not be happy with some of the racist and bad actors out there on other servers... Just import the fediblock list to your personal blocks and you will be safe from the vast majority of bad actors.
I took all the domains from https://fediblock.neocities.org/ block list and put it in a csv file that can be imported so you can block all hateful ...
@lcamtuf Those news outlets would have to adhere to the server's rules.
And if there's a server who doesn't care... it will get silenced or suspended on other servers. ;)
Oh, and users can block whole domains, so I've already blocked that bot instance. ;)
Honest? I hope they'll host their own servers so we can block it easier. ;)
@lcamtuf Yup, that is why the follower count matters a lot less here. Everybody's got the same chance of getting noticed in the timelines.

@sean It is something to get used to, yeah. Especially as things still have to settle down, and we don't know how long they'll really stick around.
@rdaily Very sensible.
May I add a judging number 4: Which way you put up the toilet roll.
Wars have been fought over this!
@MrsDi I also have a few plugins that I use, I've bookmarked them all here:
https://raindrop.io/trinsec/vivaldi-plugins-28420059
My favorites are:
- Simple Gmail Notes.
- Short Gmail Labels
- Gmail-Rightlabel
And the number one that I just cannot live without anymore:
- Dark Reader
My eyes are sensitive, dark mode for the win!
@MrsDi Huh. Interesting, but I actually like the newest on the bottom as that's more chronological order (and every old mail gets collapsed). Plus the reply is at the bottom. :)
Though I honestly never use Gmail for active conversations anymore. Just newsletters, confirmations, etc. ;)
@MrsDi Huh, interesting extension!
@ceoln You can always unfollow later! No shame in that!
@SteveZissou One million active already? Damn...
@silas@oldbytes.space
I tried that with poa.st but got redirected to their login page.
@Yasha Well, that answers that! :D
@Gamrok Heh, that's a cute copy protection. Bit annoying tho. :D
