@kjr I figure they're probably part of Mastodon itself, though I don't seem to find this feature anymore in the new Mastodon versions unless I overlooked it. @freemo probably can tell a bit more whether this is Mastodon-wide or Qoto-specific.

@kjr I have the suspicion it is a calculation of the result of your interactions with others in the past.

The suggestions I've been given are people that I've interacted with at some point as far as I can see.

Assuming that you mostly interact with others that you find interesting, I can imagine that your list of suggestions are 'freaking interesting' to you. :)

@freemo Apparently at least 2 people got wounded. Kinda seems peanuts compared to those 1500+ fishes. :P Happened in the night apparently, around 5:45. So wouldn't be too many people around.

Wow, what am I reading here in the news. Apparently a *gigantic* aquarium in Berlin kind of exploded, and all the water went everywhere with over thousand tropical fishes washing away.

Jeez, I hope the majority of those fishes could be rescued.

Heb net ergens gelezen dat dat nu niet meer mogelijk zou zijn om Mastodon te vermelden in je usernaam. Goed dat ik dat al gedaan had een paar maanden terug. :)

@paulox Ah good to know, I was contemplating adjusting my username there which has Mastodon in it, just correcting something, but it looks like I might just as well leave it alone now. ;)
