@mur2501 Well, I didn't mean In Dependence/Independence Day right now, just in general!

Leaves only one more question to ask:

Is that constitution thicker than the bible? 😋 (or what else thick books there are. oh oh I know! is it thicker than the Encyclopedia Britannica?)

@bhtooefr I wasn't aware I was being pedant. My apologies if that was perceived as such.

I tend to over-explain things.

@JonathanMBR Heh, I can confirm that the faces look indeed very reshapen.

What did they try to pull off as fake police officers? I can't imagine people would even fall for this, they don't look properly dressed as one.

@mur2501 So besides Happy Independence Day, we also should wish you a Happy In Dependence Day, heh? ;)

Any more splits coming up? :P

Though I bet most states, even if they would split further, would still be bigger than my country. 😋

@bhtooefr Well, many e-readers are actually android-based, so that's not that unusual. If its primary purpose is for e-books, technically that'd make it an e-reader. It can play music for all I care, and many do too, but it's still an e-reader. :)

@soup_reviews Oh that's not reserved for religious discussions I'm afraid.

@mur2501 Any particular reason why those thousands of stones stay together like that? Why would they not want to become their own independent little states, for example? Just curious, since you see a lot in the news the past few decades about countries wanting to become independent.
India did have that spat with Pakistan about this, didn't they? Did more spats like that happen?

@rlamacraft Not all messaging platforms evolved from SMS though. Mastodon, for example. ;)

If you want real personalized messages, I guess html-email works. :P Or you can attach PDF documents with your stylized content, or even post an image of it. Granted, that's a bit cumbersome. But people do it, so...

@rlamacraft I think it's because those platforms are depending on a certain kind of uniformity to be succesful. If I have to read a different font every time in the timeline, I'll go elsewhere where my sanity is not going to be tested to the limit. 😋

@mur2501 I'm trying to grok what you said and whether you argued against something I said, since it isn't clear to me!

I meant: USA should be united because they have largely a common background (European immigrants), but they seem more divided than India is despite India's thousand-and-one different states/languages/cultures.

@mur2501 Not a nice way to go about it, but that's probably what happened here, yeah.

Here it'd be an insurance issue.

@mur2501 Honestly, with all this diversity I'm surprised you're still one state. :P I mean, USA is less diverse but look at them acting totally not united right now!

@256 I remember just staring at the stuff changing on screen. 'Ooh, that blue block will go.. there I bet! Ah yeah, called it!'

Man, what a waste of time this all was. :D

@mur2501 (If Dutch cops are involved. I don't know what India's rules are in traffic. If there is any. ;) )

@mur2501 It is actually pretty simple. If cops are involved to resolve this situation, the car with the cam will be at fault. 1) Driving too fast, and 2) Driving into another car from behind.

The other car probably will get a ticket too for reckless driving due to the swerve.

But the one 'at fault' will be the car with the cam.
