@lydiaconwell Would be pretty tootin' if someone was tooting from Tooting.

@lydiaconwell Agreed. Some were pretty interesting, but if they post too much, that gets to be not-so-interesting very quick.

@psychedelica Education.. ;) If pupils get 6 weeks of holiday, we get a fair chunk too. ;)

Finally, holiday! 5 weeks of doing whatever the fuck I want! (Which is not much :P)

@lydiaconwell There aren't enough, though.

@lydiaconwell Heh, okay. ;)

@lydiaconwell I'm just curious, what happened to Bauhaus that you moved?

@digital_carver Yeah, it can be praying, or 'please' or even 'thanks'. I guess it depends on context.

@freemo I keep neither types in my house... it's not exactly much of a Dutch thing.. ;)

@digital_carver I've seen people using 2 hands pressed together (like praying, basically) as a thank you gesture.

@digital_carver And even then, you can always block/mute liberally to make the timelines even better. Don't be afraid of missing out.

Lol, I've never really thought about wombats much until I've read this comic! Surface-to-ass missiles! 😂

I've finally gotten around to planting those two butterfly bushes that I removed from the front garden in a cleaning up session. They were soaking in a tub filled with water for a few days, hopefully they'll recover and become nice big bushes.

I've already done this before with another butterfly bush a few months ago and that one seems to be doing well now.
#Gardening

@freemo Interesting. Wonder where I could try it here mrm. A coworker of mine did mention a hamburger that's all veggies but tastes like meat, probably something like that. Was somewhere in Amsterdam or close to there.

@freemo What's the meat-looking stuff in the middle? Beans?

@feditips Sure thing, but you went on to compare to telephones. That'd just confuse me to be honest. :)

@feditips For me it was a lot easier to know that an instance was basically a server.

@stux It doesn't really matter, just do what you're comfortable with.

I wish those little jumping spiders would stop settling in my patio furniture. I don't really like to encounter them while I'm sitting down.

I hope my house's getting solar juice again. *Now* the inverter's replaced, after almost two months of waiting. :P
