There remains a wide gap in performance between expensive high-end devices vs. the lower-end (typically Android with slower Snapdragon chips). True for mobile and yes, laptops.
We should both be aware of what devices are target users are on and be mindful that the devices we test on may not always be as representative of them (but should aim to be).
