Normally I'd say, "isn't that great?" But today I realized the rules seem a little different with #clojurescript. I learned that I don't know enough about interceptors and controllers, or transducer pipes, but there is never a hippopotamus operator or new [...] syntax

I need to read this. What does that bookmark button do?
Here are my choices:
🎨 #ClojureScript -- Reagent or Re-Frame (both tried and proven w/react.js)
🖥 #Clojure JVM for entire Java ecosystem
🪣 Clojure - PostGres w/HoneySQL, or TXDB for raw-Clojure high-performance Datalog
🚢 Uberjars for 1-line deploy, with Jenkins for CI/CD

What's your tech stack and why?
Here are my choices:
🎨 Frontend: React, MaterialUI (robust, mature, I'm familiar with them)
🖥️ Backend: No…

Trump violates Mastodon license, suit likely in 30 days
#Trump's 'Truth Social' platform has ripped off code (pretty clearly from Mastodon) and has 30 days and violated its terms of its licensing. He has 30 days to come into compliance (he won't) or face legal action https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-truth-social-broke-software-rules-30-days-to-comply-2021-10
As I've played around with different search engines, the big question is, from whom do you want privacy?
#Google: I don't care about privacy from anyone. Besides, I have incognito. Give me my search results!
#DuckDuckGo: I don't want Google or my search engine to know me. Also, handy helpers. Servers in USA, though.
#Metager: I don't want search engines, isps, or the government to know me. Utterly open source, host your own. Performance will vary, though.

A very good reading about #ClojureScript performance for this week end. https://twitter.com/juxtpro/status/1451165834798419972
#OSINT is a new concept to me, too, but very interesting. I don't like it, which is why I must learn more.

#TIL about OSINT (open source intelligence, the process of gathering information utilizing public resources) & I’m like wait a min, I’ve been doing this for FUN since I was a kid and there’s whole methodologies and techniques? It’s never too late to learn and expand your skillset

This called to mind the importance of 1:1 meetings with the team members I manage. I'm using a language that emphasizes a preference for small functions, small libraries, and individual productivity. The conception of our teams should reflect that too. #clojure

The latest Deref -- some fun stuff on the way and reported. I need to do a little more scheming and figure out my Quines. Also looking a little at Pathom.

ua-parser-js has been compromised. Bitter cheers to #Javascript #NPM users! Glad I'm not using NPM much in my #ClojureScript projects.
