My son Louis (who is now a fervent supporter of Linux, especially in his computer science/network IUT at Caen/France) gave me a demonstration of the power of Manjaro (Arch based). In a few clicks he installed Manjaro from a USB key on my old PC with its exotic hardware. The graphics acceleration is operational with a beautiful desktop under the latest version of gnome. The installation of its huge up-to-date software is simple. Impressive, I am conquered! I think I'll switch to Manjaro soon.

@echo_pbreyer I can understand that, it is kinda like self hosting a website, if you need to start over or can't use that hosting provider then information loss is part of the process of finding a new host.

@gitea has joined fediverse. They are in the planning phase of adding federation to Gitea. Does this mean we will be able to file issues, pull-requests and follow repositories in other Gitea instances? We will see.
