I think anyone seeing Hitchcocks, The Birds, will never see a flock of crows gathering in the same way again.
American Crow.
Charlie and I were sitting in the backyard taking pictures of birds, about 30 minutes ago, when this crow flew by and landed near the top of a tall pine tree to the east. So, of course, I took some pictures. I generally have trouble with crows especially at a distance, and this photo is no different. For some reason birds that are all black are difficult. But the setting is good, and you can see the bird's eye which is a plus.
"American Crows congregate in large numbers in winter to sleep in communal roosts. These roosts can be of a few hundred up to two million crows. Some roosts have been forming in the same general area for well over 100 years. In the last few decades, some of these roosts have moved into urban areas where the noise and mess cause conflicts with people." - allaboutbirds.org

When reporting this sort of thing, would it be possible to mention if that state is Democrat or Republican please, not everyone outside of the US will know. I tried to look it up, but am not too sure if the state representitive in washington is the same party as in the house of representitives in the state (in this case Minesota).
If that doesn't make sense, I am not really familiar with how the US systems work. So sorry about this in advance.

The Minnesota House just passed a 100% by 2040 clean energy standard. Let’s hear it for House Majority Leader and bill author @Jamiemlong@twitter.com, and every Minnesotan who made this possible! 👏

Hmm, please can someone remember that Putin has strategic and tactical nuclear weapons, he has at least threatened to use the latter on the battle field I am not sure if his generals will follow those orders but some may do.

Fully agree with this. The latter two are also skills in high demand by employers.
This may not help much. but this is a good reason to get more people involved in citizen science, they do one project on water quality
Great way to at least collect more data so we can present, not that it should take this to convince any person with a decent level of education that sewage is not good for people, wildlife or the environment.
If nothing else it would be good to get them on here too just generally to share what they are doing.
Also need to take in to account how those objects have been used, a washing machine on an uneven floor may suffer more damage, We have a good mixer from the early 80s, still works, still used, still sharp as with other items.
Sure the are old, they do the job, so why throw them out.

This is my MP @Caroline_Ansell@twitter.com who represents the seaside town of Eastbourne and has just voted to allow sewage to be pumped into the sea for another 15 years. She has neglected the needs of town since 2019 #torysewageparty #generalelectionnow

Ozone ( O_3 ) - essential for filtering out UV fine at high altitude not so good at ground level
@zleap It's a huge bureaucracy. I don't know who is responsible for that unfortunate rule but the hospital itself answers to a local health board.
You're not going to want to miss this one.

Or take carbon which is found in everyliving thing, combine it with Nitrogen, most abundant atmospheric gas and end up with Cyanide ( CN ) a deadly poison.
I find it interesting how two elements that work together in nature and are not poisonous, combine to make something so deadly.
Then again take Carbon and Oxygen as Carbon Monoxide and that is also deadly.
