What is far more concerning is the fact people read this and take it as the truth, rather than looking at this with an objective eye, like we do here. Perhaps the fact it got past the editorial stage in the first place is also of concern.

There was meant to be someone in place to oversee part of the business, that person could have stopped this from happening but that post wasn't filled, in which case it is up to other members of the board to do that job too surely.

If you work somewhere and your cleaner is off ill, does this mean nothing gets cleaned or do other staff muck in and make sure areas such as washrooms get cleaned?

This could work, as long as all the videos are then released in some sort of logical order, so any related chat is syncronised with the video, logical order could be in sync also with the timezone of the presenter so they can be on chat / here etc when the video is released.

I know on peertube it is possible to shedule the video release for example.

I have the data detox workshop slides, i can upload to big blue button, and make a presentation, i just feel that I need an audience in the room (even 1 or 2 people) so I don't feel I am talking to myself. You may find others have the same awkward feeling trying to present to a invisible audience.

This video could then be recorded and put on peertube

Isn't the idea of these acquisitions to acquire intellectual property etc, the human employees just end up as collateral.

We know they are coming, we know their MO (Modus operandi) so we just make sure we are ready, and not asleep at the wheel should they join and try and do a massive data / IP grab on what user info there is.

Indeed, hence I suggested, if they come here, they will find we are more than ready to defend our way of undertaking social networks, our 'Fediverse lore' so to speak. We need to be ready, hence I asked about if we can make it easier to set uploaded media to a specific license, like we can on peertube

Sounds like a good scheme, i hope someone sues, like they did with one of the e-0safety bills that never happened and a company developed a solution and sued for the cost recovery

Ah yes, We had a few holidays in Cromer, in fact I have a programme thing from when me and my mum went to see "when we were married" a play at the theatre on cromer pier.
