So another question is, if this is a civil trial can he be put on a sex offenders register, or does that only apply to criminal cases.

I would hope the UK home office is watching all this and at least perhaps considers putting him on a no visit list. After all, I doubt someone with even 1/10th of trumps record of wrong doing they would be allowed in the US, even as a visitor.

The US and the west in general are getting sick of these people, so while they spread their hate on Twitter, all they are doing is exposing their true nature. This for a while keeps them off fedi, but also helps mods here block them if they attempt to join.

Mind you, following some of the threads here on Fedi is hard work, and rather tiring as a result (they are in no way boring) , they are complex and indept conversations, so anyone joining Fedi be warned, expect to actually engage in content, think before you type, ask questions and have own assumptions questioned either directly or indirectly, as just in the past hour my notification box has pinged several times with comments that require all of the above.

It is easy to say the wrong thing when it comes to legal issues, so far there was a post where Trump is liable, another he is guilty, from what I gather as this is a civil trial, he can be liable but not guilty, so I learned something really useful from that.

It is not all complex, we can, at least have a bit of fun at the expense of Trump and his band of followers.

Well there is still the other more serious cases coming up so far it seems to be legal system 2 trump 0

So as with sport. trump is the manager who blames the referee for losing rather than the teams poor performance or bad team management.

I am not a legal expert, but the fact that the jury took such a short time to reach their verdict, suggests that the evidence against trump was very powerful.
