The problem with these defeats is they are going to be less likely to call a GE before they really need to, as they know full well they face total wipeout at the polls.

They may as well call a GE as early as possible in 2024, conceed the inevitable defeat and then start to rebuild.

In the meantime Labour need 10 years to fix the mess we are in.

At least the modern ones, old fashioned defibrillators were manual. In fact the new ones talk to you, give you instructions and are designed to be used by anyone.

Excellent point there, I was thinking of creaating one for anyone who wishes to employ me, to remind them of the fact employees are humans and need to be treated properly.

SOcial media companies have known about fake news and fake accounts and appear to have failed to come up with a proper solution, the result is like with Ukraine, a tide of fake content, and now the smae with Palestine / Israel

They surely have the means to tackle this, but have just chosen not to.

It will cost lives.

LibreOffice can open some MS office docs but you're right, there

do the kids have an opportunity to write essays or make presentations to the class, perhaps they can write something about free software :)
