Given how our US cousin change the English Langage spellings, who knows

UK English Pedometer is step counter

however in US English they spell the English word Paedophile as Pedophile ( US English) so maybe, if we took things too literally in US English the word Pedometer is used to count the number of Pedophiles that walk past.

I appreciate the Americans see England as the 'land of extra vowels', but much of English comes from French, so the addition or removal of the vowel 'a' in this context really does change the meaning.

I do agree with some US spellings, e.g Sulfur instead of Sulphur for example, the former is now accepted,

The problem I see with this is that they don't want to leave THEIR home land, making this offer is exactly what Netenyahu wants so he can have Gaza. He will step up the efforts to FORCE them out.
