NEW: A children's tablet came pre-installed with malware, software with a "extensive system level permissions to download whatever application it wants,” and five-years-old Android.

Was on sale at Amazon and Walmart, they have now taken it down.

The company that makes it, Dragon Touch, is listed on an official Android page as a “certified” device that’s been “tested for security and performance.”

Google is reviewing "whether the manufacturer's device meets the security standards required for Play Protect certification.”

Just as I’m finding a majority of people 18-29 get their news from TikTok…

That TikTok is making sympathy for Osama bin Laden trend

Even Arafat disavowed bin Laden. That man is garbage and the ocean is still mad at us for throwing our trash there

TikTok is cancer.

Remember, the far right only wants “free speech” so they can seize power — and then abolish free speech for anyone but themselves.

They finally got me, too. Yesterday, after 5.5 years at Skillshare, I was laid off along with @ramsey and 21 others.

That means I'm immediately available for work. I am looking for a staff/principal software engineer role working on a foundations/platform team. I love modernising legacy applications and mentoring other engineers.

I'm based in the UK but happy to work for a company anywhere in the world - contract or perm. So let's chat. :)

@MsMerope 7. As growing food becomes harder and harder, found a company which instead uses vats of algae to produce protein and nutriets. Package those into biscuits/wafers which will feed the population of the world. Add variety with different kinds... "Blue" "Red" and "Green" varieties. Make sure your name invokes current foods, i.e. "Soy". Collect $$$ as the world becomes dependent on your food for sustaining life.
8. Develop an automated, AI-powered, food-gathering robot which helps collect food from the sea and stores it into deep freeze. It should target plankton, fish, sea greens, and protein from the sea.
