Dear readers, we are here with yet another NHS consultation related to trans kids. You may remember our previous consultation guide about the new proposals for the banning of puberty blockers. This is a new consultation, which is broader, and is defining the referral pathway for the new child and adolescent gender service.

A new radio telescope just opened its eyes to the sky, and this is what it saw: a sky aglow with pulsars, forming stars, and black holes.

Just a coincidence, I'm sure, but the radio image even *looks* like the first glimpse through half-opened eyelids...

@writeon1 Hamas will not be destroyed. Maybe the fighting units. But Hamas is rather a system, an idea, and if you just give it another name it will still not disappear. When this is over, there will be still more Palestinians following the way Hamas showed them - fuelled by much more rage.
If they want to destroy "Hamas" - they would have to kill the last Palestinian, including those living in diaspora. And I think, N. knows that only too well.

It's worth saying that the genocide underway in Eastern Congo is also the result of the West arming and backing full tilt the survivors of a genocide and giving them carte blanche to do whatever they want, rather than insisting that a more just social order emerge from the ashes. It's not specifically about Israel, it's a larger dynamic
