@feli bouncing e-mails off each other can take a while, however a phone call can be good to arrange a meeting for example then an e-mail follows up with the confirmation

e.g I phone you to invite you to interview
you say you can attend, I send details via e-mail you reply to confirm

job done

I guess there is a time / place for everything a phone call will allow for voice inflections, harder to get across in e-mails sometimes.

@info_activism I think the People of Russia are starting to realise that they are being lied to and they are actually at war with Ukraine with cities such as Mariupol being razed to the ground, with 100's of thousands being made to flee.

I think cracks are starting to form in Putins circles his removal is hopefully inevitable and even more hopefully he is replaced by someone with morals, who will also then call an election after ensuring oppositions are free to stand for election.

Putin can't keep what is going on in Ukraine away from the people for ever.

@Eden@weirder.earth I can't see Tattoo on here

communitywiki.org/trunk

it may be worth asking one of the people who run that if tattoo can be added.

@trunk
@kensanata

Hope this helps

@a_lizard@mastodon.social Maybe help make sure that systems that are at risk of cyber attack are made more secure. not how credible the reports that Russia is planning cyber attacks on the USA are, but people need help to take small steps to help mitigate the risk. Help 1 person change to a better password, 2fa or password manager, perhaps that would help.

You can't risk going to prison if you want to try and 'hack' Russian systems, so take a defensive approach.

@watson Another way would be to make sure our child protection and safeguarding systems are robust enough to stop or at least prevent people from having an opportunity to abuse,

if anyone raises concerns, child or adult they MUST be taken seriously we need to be able to spot the signs of abuse and know how to raise concerns, but also know that those concerns will be listened to.
