Making Debian boot, but keeping the Windows partition, on an old, but not too old for UEFI, laptop. Hopefully the advice here on efibootmgr helps. It promises to also keep Windows from taking over again:

On a more positive note, this setup could be ideal if a partner needs to get up early to work nights or gets back late due to shift work. esp if there is no room for separate bedrooms.

BP yearly profits have doubled to $27.7bn (£23bn), a new record. It's also now reduced its climate emissions target, because fuck the planet. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-64544110

It's now TWO YEARS and 32 days since Donald Trump's Jan 6 terrorist attack. In any other first world country he'd already be charged with crimes. Instead Trump is now running for President where he's actively spewing more lies to delegitimize our democracy. INDICT TRUMP!

Capitol police re-install security fencing around Capitol before the State of Union address. The reason is concerns that Trump’s terrorists may wage another attack. Yet not one leading Republican denounces the threats of violence. Today GOP is what FASCISM looks like. #SOTU

Yes, happy to boost, electric cars are great, in terms of reducing pollutants, but what is the cost to the environment when extracting lithium from the ground. This is hidden, and not discussed.

If you have a program such as vokoscreen-ng are you able to make a short video on how to switch from normal <> dark mode please. It helps others and also promotes the feature. I have made a few 7.4 videos. Unless you just put the steps here and I can do that.

@libreoffice has a #DarkMode. 😍
OK, I updated from 7.3, so I probably missed this feature in 7.4, but this is a _huge_ improvement for me. And I just discovered, that I can change the document background, too. Less strain on my eyes. I'm in love! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

It probably depends if mainstream social media can be used to manipulate people like before, or if the algorithms have changed to stop it
@Lowie@universeodon.com @therobburgessshow
Agreed.
