@zleap @truthat I am all on board with that. There needs to be protections from the govt to protect them. But they should also be able to work if it’s relatively safe. Even in my teens, I rarely worked more than 1 school night a week and was done by 10 or 11 at latest. It was always weekends and summers so as not to interfere with school. I was doing this at age 12. My entire point was that the headlines made it seem like kids couldn’t work before and now they can which wasn’t true

Blast from the past - The #O2 mobile phone shop in #Nuneaton has gone (presumably) and the old BT Cellnet fascia has been revealed. Makes sense of course. Cellnet became BT Cellnet in 1999, which then became O2 in 2002. So this sign has been hidden for over 20 years.

Born in 1917, Egyptian physicist Sameera Moussa studied radioactive isotopes used to create medical images. Her research “laid the groundwork for a revolution in the affordability & safety of nuclear medicine.”

Concerned about the potential use of nuclear weapons during WWII, Moussa organized the Atomic Energy for Peace conference.

Five months ago, before she died, my 91-year-old great-grandmother described to me how, while her mother was taken to the gas chambers by the Nazis, she asked her mother, "Where are you going?" and "When are you coming back?" She never saw her mother again. I was literally shaking while I was listening.

Now, when I checked Twitter, I bumped into two accounts, one "verified," and the other one lost their "verification" yesterday. I'll just leave it right here...
