🔥 We are excited to let everyone know that our full website is now live!

We hope this will be an easy way for new users to get started with #Mastodon & join the wider #Fediverse & an organizing hub to build & spread a better, more open social web of ALL fediverse offerings.

With the #RedditMigration in full force & the likely #Barcelona launch bringing new attention to the Fediverse it is all the more urgent to help #TakeBackSocial

What about those without a dad for what ever reason, a lot of kids are from single parent families, so they turn to the internet and find morons like Andrew Tate and see them as good role moles in some cases.

@Teri_Kanefield

Once they vote to end democracy, and it comes to pass, they will realise what has been lost and moan even more, but also blame everyone else other than their own single minded stupidity.

Y’all ever find yourself thinking about the parents of the kids of Sandy Hook? Or Uvalde, Parkland, & Covenant. Or Columbine, Santa Fe, & more?

We may move on—but their lives are frozen in time. Forever fixated on a moment they can never change.😓

It just doesn’t have to be this way.

Or to be able to take care of each other; the more atomized we are, the more vulnerable we are.

Good for them, stand firm and tell DeSantis where to go.

Florida #education officials (DeSantis minions) again target an Advanced Placement course—this time on psychology—because it includes content on sexuality and identity as is standard in a college level class. College Board is holding firm.

Great to see all these new users and services, we may actually start to be taken seriously now.

Signs of the #RedditMigration in action:
Three of the top 6 #Fediverse servers are not only not Mastodon.social but they are not even microblogging servers - but rather are #Threadiverse servers.

That is only seriously good for the entire Fedi infrastructure. Diversity is strength.

Sooo, is anyone still thinking of laying down $3,500 for that new Apple VisionPro?
For about the same amount of money, you may come with me for a week in Spain, and help us out on a humanitarian project building a wetland.
That money will give you a great, all immersive experience, while also giving you the natural healing power of nature and gratitude.
Help me, help others and yourself. ❤️🙏🏼💫💦🌳 🦆

I am not sure how many souls died in the boat incident off greece, but it highlights we NEED to get a grip on people trafficking NOW. As it was pointed out, one solution is to crate those safe routes out of countries were people are in danger, so more consulate offices so asylum can be claimed, from within a neighbouring country or state. Put traffikers out of business once and for all.

I think someone on here said last year, that one can earn $10k per person smuggled accross the US / Mexico border, so easy money, you get paid even if they die en route.

This is a massive issue and part of organized crime, better organized than the people set up to fight it.

@HeavenlyPossum

The elite don't want the rest of us to earn good wages, learn and develop personally and professionally as that way we would be able to make our own choices far easier and would be less succeptable to exploitation.

Yesterday, I posted an excerpt from a speech by Abraham Lincoln from 1859 in which he critically compared wage labor—especially life-long wage labor with no hope of ever graduating to independent production—to chattel slavery.

As hard as it is to imagine today, there was once a robust public debate in the US in which words like “capital” and “labor” and “wage slavery” were explicitly used. Today, the slightest whiff of these would have you accused of communism and brayed off the public stage. Our discourse has gotten *more* restricted over time.
