@frankps

I can't open googlemaps, but I found this on openstreetmap

osm.org/go/0Hu85--

I tried to download the png of the map but got a gateway timeout

@frankps is this in Denmark?, are you able to post a map showing this and also Copenhagen and Malmö, so it gives the distance you can see please.

As you move up through the tower, you experience that the distance between the ramps changes until you reach the viewing platform 140 meters above sea level, where you have a 360 degree view of the landscape. The main construction is made of maintenance-free corten steel, and the ramp is made of local South Zealand oak.

On a clear day you can see all the way to Copenhagen and Malmö, more than 50 kilometers away.

The Forest Tower has won several architecture awards.

Imagine what a tech powerhouse any country could become if they passed a law allowing any trans person to immigrate there with zero friction.

One mom said she cried for 10 days after hearing she was being removed from her daughter's birth certificate.

@evelynefoerster These noisy dogs always hang out by my supermarket. They absolutely insist I bring seed with me. These are the rules I must oblige.

@Em0nM4stodon So are residewts if the various Birminghams in the US, also called Brunnies or is that just reserved for the Birmingham over here?

My mind is so dirty because I haven’t been brainwashed in a while.

@Em0nM4stodon

Place names too, there are several places called Birmingham in the US and one in the UK

@RickiTarr

Yeah, However in the UK what we call a pavement in North American you call a sidewalk, so pavement in the US means the actual road surface.

I think the term torch, refers to the fact that at one time it was a piece of wood that was set alight to show the way, we have becons that were used to send signals long distances as they were placed within line of sight of another.

I know it’s a bold step but I’ve decided to make my sex tape public.

@Em0nM4stodon

I agree, a few times people have mentioned something going through the House of Commons only for it to be later revealed that they are talking about Canada not the United Kingdom.

Please remember Fedi-Friends
that you are talking with the whole world here! 🌍🌏🌎

If you talk about a topic that is only relevant to a specific location, do not forget to specify where it is to save your fellow Fedi-Friends from complete confusion :blob_confused:❓

A few examples:

👍 The *US* Supreme Court
👍 The King *of England*
👍 I lost my cat *in New Zealand*
👍 Looking to hire in CA *USA*
👍 Looking for remote work *from Canada*
👍 I hate this beach *on Mars*
👍 Etc etc.

Alternatively, you can also use a Content Warning with the region you are referring to in the warning message.

Thank you citizens of the FediWorld! :geodesic:✨
