Cool, is that as is, or did you need to dissolve then evaporate ?

@freemo

I can try with other stuff e.g Copper Sulfate. Salt is nice as it is safe, so kids can repeat the experiment.

H could be Helios and R can be Ra, both gods of the sun.

Not sure, but hopefully possession of CSAM carries a longer prison term in some states. Given the US has consecutive prison terms, they could spend a long lomg time in jail. Which means that they are no longer able to cause problems for the rest of society. At the same time, locking some away may deter others or at least make them think twice.

A few weeks ago I put some pure Sodium Chloride in a beaker with de-ionised water to dissolve, then pured in to a small glass bowl and lkeft it to evaporate.

All the water has now gone, so I examined the resulting crystals under my USB Microscope.

I think they turned out OK, well some did.

Some employers can show contempt for people who actually mean to be working for them too.

I think there could be a huge market to do this and teach people skills that are simply missed out in other courses.

As in we need to get back to proper IT courses that are useful and practical.

Email - The fake, canned meat of choice

As a society, we've decided to accept that people may miss or lose emails because of the sheer volume of communications. It certainly says, "This isn't working for us anymore and maybe we should try something else."

Then again, having a written word is a valuable receipt. Some even email themselves to remember.

Why don't we formally teach people how manage email?

I really think we are going to cross a line at some point, Russia used cluster bombs early on and to wide condemnation, The problem with the west is we are not even joined up, we are fractured, while Russia is one country with one agenda and plan.

Unless the west can agree on a strategy that is effective but does not cross certain lines such as use of weapons that are indiscriminate, we are going to be remembered for that and only that.

Reminds me of 7 of 9 in star trek pointing out humans need to debate every issue, where as the borg just make a decision based on several options.
