Let him sue there are enough people on here who can send in tesitmonies to confirm that twitter is a neo-nazi and anti LGBTQ cesspit.
The fact Musk has let back on Kanye West (Ye) who was banned for Anti Semetic posts is one of many such examples.
X, formally known as Twitter, is suing the independent researchers behind the report that documented a rise in neo-Nazi and anti-LGBTQ hate speech on the platform since Elon Musk's takeover. The nonprofit, which has previously published reports on Facebook and TikTok, has never before been subjected to legal action by a tech company it has reviewed. The center's CEO Imran Ahmed says he's concerned for the future of independent research if X wins its case.

These AI bots will probably end up talking to each other. I much prefer it here, where we can actually have proper conversations with real people.
I have written articles, got feedback and made improvement, such as writing about Hypothesis and Theory, but at the same time we have excellent interactions on here.

The Electronic Frontier Foundation will award Alexandra Elbakyan, founder of the 'pirate' library Sci-Hub, for her efforts to provide access to scientific knowledge.
Without Sci-Hub, many academics would be unable to complete their research projects.
#EFF also highlights that Elbakyan’s work helps to challenge the current academic publishing system, where researchers are used as unpaid workhorses.
yes I am posting about journals and social media and how they are related again
the number of ppl perhaps rightly mourning the decay of academic twitter as one of the only ways to share, find and talk about research seems like it points directly to the fundamental hollowness of the current journal system as a means of uh sharing, finding, and talking about research.
our for-profit system of communication is so hostile to the way we want to work that we became dependent on a different, also very hostile informational chokepoint.
I think it is a pretty normal idea to want to try to rebuild our communication systems ourselves, in common. whatever that looks like. I get why that's weird or boring or scary to ppl I just think it would be fun and good to do.

Would I be right in thinking that a Galaxy and Hurricane are similar in the sense that there is a central vortex or in the case of a galaxy a black hole. These rotate and cause matter around them to swirl round the central area.
Nature is full of spirals on all scales: galaxies, forming stars, hurricanes, whirlpools.
The starbirth image (#2) is a new one from the ALMA observatory, revealing the intricate geometry that leads to the creation of new planetary systems.
