Words are fine, actions are more effective, I have boosted this but we perhaps need to put pressure on our political leaders to end our reliance on fossil fuels ASAP.

@tod

I think rather than simply jumping to that conclusion, we explore different options, but yes it does seem to be pointing towards an assassination OR attempted, not confirmed the wagner leader was even on board.

Russia isn't going to admit to an assassination, what it will do is try and find a justification for shooting down an aircraft in this case.

It seems from the BBC it was enroute to StPetersburg so not sure where the origin was ( I am sure this has been stated, just can't remember), but why would prigozhin be in russia knowing he was a wanted person?

@selzero

No confirmation he was on board yet, he may still be alive.

Prigozhin lived way longer than I anticipated.

Strategic mastermind apparently.

I wonder how the rest of the group are going to respond to this ?

@cstross

On the farcical side,

"A statement from Russia's air transport regulator says they've opened a criminal case regarding the downed aircraft, for violating air traffic safety rules."

Will the official line be "Nothing personal, we had to shoot them down for their own good, they were violating traffic air safety rules."

@BeatlesLyricsB

That could be confused with a line from a song in the Oliver Twist musical
