Imo using Fedi requires more effort than simply dropping posts and having people eat it up. Here, journalists will face extreme criticism and follow-up that can't be swatted down as easily as biased media giants.
If you're a journo and made it big in Fedi, you're definitely a good one to have made it through the crucible of numerous Fedi instances pelting you with reactionary follow through.
I've yet to see any such thing, though. Maybe someday someone will pave the way?
So Musk has changed sides to Russia, and is helping Putin, who is claiming Ukraine is fully of Nazis, the very people that populate musk platform X.

@mike Posting on Mastadon depends solely on the quality of your individual posts and their ability to engage other users. There is no amplifier mechanism. Perhaps these journalists lack the confidence to engage solely on their own content with nothing else to push it. Is tech nothing more than hype?

If you’re switching to #Firefox, remember Firefox is not private by default. Consider the #LibreWolf fork, which is. Otherwise, go into your settings and adjust its tracking features (like having #Google as the default search engine), turn off telemetry, “experiments”, etc.
(Also, if you all switch and Google goes bankrupt, #Mozilla will go bankrupt too because they exist thanks to half a billion dollars a year from Google. So remember Google must survive for Mozilla to survive.)

Threats of violence are increasingly used to justify excluding #transgender, #gay, and other #LGBTQ Americans from ordinary civic life. Here, I examine one such recent incident in Iowa as I remember how Brendan Fay fought for decades for St. Patrick's Day inclusion. Brendan won his fight then. So can we today!
When I read stuff like this, why do I sort of get visions of railway tracks leading to concentration camps around parts of the USA, people dressed in black NAZI uniforms inflicting horrific abuse on members of the population. This is what the Gestapo did to people and helped to run the concentration camps.
Learn from history and put a stop to it before it is too late for millions of people, this lot are probably not going to round up and exterminate jews, they seem to want to round up and exterminate the LGBTQ population.
I was in Canada in 2006 on a work / travel visa. I remember adverts on TV about the dangers of Crystal Meth, and also ones that say you talk to your kids about various things, talk to them about Crystal Meth. This was 17 years ago, and it is still a problem in other countries by the sounds of it.
Perhaps more public awareness is needed.

Maybe the troops of BOTH countries could stand on their respective side of the border, but do so NAKED, they may then realise that as humans we ALL look very similar. we just wear different clothing, which for example reflects culture, religions or other things, and because of that we seem to fight wars.
Once they realise we are all the same, perhaps they will think twice about starting a war.
