I find it quite amusing that Hunter Biden has been indicted for gun posession so the Republicans now have to go "Look how terrible he is, he owned a GUN", that one's really gonna fly for them 😉

The atmospheres of planets beyond this solar system are coming into focus and helping scientists decide what constitutes evidence of life and where to look for it. https://t.co/1VonUEEM40

In the UK Big Oil influences government through junktanks and lobbying…in the US the CEO ring leader of climate denial and delay literally got to become Secretary of State.

It felt dystopian then…it’s sickening that so many still cannot see how the world tipped irreversibly during the past pivotal 15 years.

A hidden #planet with a mass about 1.5–3 times that of Earth could be lurking at the edge of the solar system.

The unexplained properties of some solar system bodies could be evidence for the planet, which would orbit about 200 au from the Sun.

Evidence for the hidden planet was uncovered by focusing on several unexplained phenomena associated with trans-Neptunian objects.

Would like to follow un-normal people who are as inconsistent as I am.
One day post photos of cats, food, moss, next day rage against the government's herd immunity policy, be quiet and thoughtful the next.
Sometimes I actually manage to say something insightful or funny.

Mostly I'm looking for a place where it's safe to be me until the fear which has ruled my life is gone. Then everywhere will be safe.

Here's how to request that your personal information not be used to train Meta's AI model. "Request" is the operative word here.

JWST's Latest Image Contains a Protostar That's Just Tens of Thousands of Years Old

The latest image from JWST is a stunner and is scientifically fascinating. You're looking at a Herbig-Haro object, which astronomers know surrounds a class 0 protostar. This is a star that's only a few tens of thousands of years old and still hasn't ignited stellar fusion in its core. It has about 8% the mass of the Sun but will eventually become a main-sequence star roughly like the Sun. Thanks to JWST's infrared view, astronomers can see through the gas and dust obscuring the central region, revealing the twin polar jets that are throwing material into space.

Facts! #VoteBlue 💙🇺🇸

I feel like on social media, the desire to be entertaining is often at odds with the desire to be kind, and that can be a real problem.

I had let the bird feeder get a bit low, and this wee chap was chuntering at me to refill it.

At least he was very sweet and let me take a snapshot from quite close up, which was needed as the light was dropping.

A new report finds voter ID requirements were discriminatory and vote-suppressing in England in May. The Director of @electoralreform Cymru has said Wales faces a “ticking time bomb” that could see thousands of Welsh voters disenfranchised.
