I haven’t any money to spare but I completely agree with you and am doing what I can, boosting your post. We can make a better world for all of us together.

Can we replace just Benjamin Netanyahu with Benjamin Netanyahu and his government? There is more than 1 person who is culpable here.

It is not anti-Israeli to condemn Benjamin Netanyahu. It is, in fact, pro-democracy and pro-peace to do so.

@guardian

I don't think the current stance on what is happening on the ground in Gaza is going to help any of the political parties. The death toll is huge and children are the main casualties.

Unless Labour and Tories are fine with the slaugter of children, we were right to condem Hamas for whatthey did at the supernova festival, but the response has now gone too far.

And no word on the fact this is just the beginning, are we going to allow israeli special forces to take out Hamas supporters in the UK with total impunity?

@wolfeh

Are you able to say where you are? as in, if it is safe to do so then there are a good few groups on here, they may be able to help put you in touch with local support.

Does anyone know of any good support groups or social contacts for my partner, who is disabled and trans?

As much as I try to be there for her, I know it's not the same talking with someone who hasn't been her shoes.

I figure that the Fediverse is the right place to ask this question.

If you don't know, could you please boost for exposure?

Thanks in advance.

Dog is disappointed there are no bones under the tree :D

Why am I on social media? Well, it’s fun! But also, I’ve made lifelong friends and gotten actual jobs through social media. Why wouldn’t I be here?

I suppose we should avoid jumping to conclusions about the motive. However, she was a prominent figure in the local Jewish community. Notably, she helped found the Muslim-Jewish Forum of Detroit.

Also, she was apparently killed inside her house and then dragged outside. That doesn't sound like a robbery to me.

Getting more intresting by the day, i fit can be proved israel targeted a hospital it HAS to be a game changer

"#Gaza Video: new expert analysis shows hospital missile originating in #Israel

The video shows expert analysis of the missile strike area, audio of the missile arriving and a voice track that Israel claims shows #Hamas operatives discussing the misfiring of a missile. (But) All of the analysis points toward Israel as the source of the strike"

Well at least when the IDF go in, get hurt, they can be rushed to hospital and the docs can perform amputations with no anesthesia on the basis they don't have any.

Any complaints they can be told that it is THEIR fault for imposing a blockade and bombing Gaza

Poetic justice springs to mind.

The president of a synagogue in Detroit was found stabbed outside her home Saturday morning, according to local newspaper reports.
Samantha Woll, 40, had led the Isaac Agree Downtown synagogue since 2022. The Detroit Free Press reported that she had also worked for the congresswoman Elissa Slotkin and the re-election campaign of the Michigan attorney general, Dana Nessel. Slotkin and Nessel are Democrats, and the latter quickly issued a statement lamenting Woll’s slaying.

“I am shocked, saddened and horrified to learn of Sam’s brutal murder,” Nessel said in a statement. “Sam was as kind a person as I’ve ever known. She was driven by her sincere love of her community, state and country. Sam truly used her faith and activism to create a better place for everyone.”theguardian.com/us-news/2023/o
