@aral My son had an interesting insight the other day. He commented that some people just seem to be addicted to anger. If they can't find something to be angry about the create it to stir things up.

@Jaden2 My heart hurts with every shooting. I have no answers. I vote for gun control and legislators over rule my vote or the Courts step in and say it is unconstitutional. Some say it should be addressed using a public health model. That approach seems promising. It could be implemented locally while we wait for our national legislators to take action or we succeed in electing those who will. https://efsgv.org/learn/learn-more-about-gun-violence/public-health-approach-to-gun-violence-prevention/

The series of blatant scandals around the abuses of the company are damning, but the worst thing of all this is that millions of people will unnecessarily die to satisfy not only corporate greed but ALSO further fueling #VaccineApartheid even more.

“If Republicans hadn’t spent nearly $2 trillion on the Trump tax cuts for giant corporations and billionaires and hollowed out the IRS to help wealthy tax cheats, the United States wouldn’t even need to raise the debt ceiling this year.” - Elizabeth Warren

Writers Know Using ChatGPT Is a Bad Idea

Writers are aggrieved by ChatGPT and other AI-written content not because it threatens our jobs, but because it's so clear how and why it's doomed to be a disaster.

#gardening **New Seeds** We just discovered a great *hack*. Nobody gets photo prints any more, and we have these albums hanging around. We just got in our seeds for the season. I start the tomatoes in March under the lights. I may start the onions earlier, but extreme cold makes things difficult in the garage.

@Jaden2

It's another myth that all black kids and families are poor or uneducated.

This "Black Students in Higher Education" website shows that "In 2019, 29% of the Black population aged 25 to 29 held a bachelor’s degree or higher"

A Google search shows that "In 2021, 19.5 percent of Black people living in the United States were living below the poverty line."

That means over 80% were above the poverty line.

Thanks for telling your story.

@zleap Nope. It's good in that it trains your body to deal with alcohol. Like one of the Roman emperors, I forget which one, who took a daily dose of arsenic to train his body to deal with possible attempts of food poisoning with arsenic.
