A widely popular course at Yale University about the psychology of happiness has been retooled for teens. It teaches them how to better manage stress and feel happier as they navigate their high school years. https://www.washingtonpost.com/wellness/2023/01/23/yale-happiness-course-teens/
Better air quality would reduce transmission of airborne pathogens and help save lives.
This much is undeniable.
So why are we doing so little at a systematic level to achieve it.

@zleap You'd need to make or find a bot which converts RSS feeds into Fediverse-sized bites that you can sub to.
For example, you could try checking out https://mastofeed.org/ , I have no clue if it'll work but if it does it'd save you the hassle of having to create one yourself.
#Privacy isn't extremism, it's one of our #humanRights.
"No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks." -- UDHR Article 12

How do I subscribe to an RSS feed from mastodon?

It's really refreshing how much more critical of disinformation the younger generations are. Right now there's a bunch of videos going viral where people fake muscle spasms and claim the vaccine caused it. If you go to Twitter, it's mostly the original videos going viral. If you go to TikTok, it's mostly people parodying those videos by turning them into dance routines.

Like many noted American scientists of his generation, Kusch was an immigrant. His parents left Germany when he was one; he became a US citizen at eleven. He worked at a public library to save money for college, and contributed research during WWII. He won the Nobel in 1955.
That’s a path that has seemed harder to imagine in recent years. The idea of an immigrant who works at a library and does federally funded curiosity-driven research reads like a script for a GOP attack ad.

You might have seen the news that #Meta is going to let #Trump back on Facebook and Instagram:
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/facebook-instagram-end-trumps-suspension-platforms-rcna67524
The timing is anything but accidental. Trump had agreed to exclusively post on Truth Social. That agreement is soon expiring.
And just a few days ago news broke that Trump does not going to renew it:
https://gizmodo.com/donald-trump-truth-social-twitter-facebook-tmtg-1850017818
In other words, Meta is actively inviting Trump back in the moment they got wind of him being back "on the market" so to speak.
Absolute fuckers.
