The modern corporate obsession with data is beyond incorrect, it's obscene.

If I order a pizza, there's no universe where the social contract should include a follow-up email about a survey. IT'S A PIZZA. And moreover, I PAID FOR IT WITH MONEY. You are not entitled to 5 minutes of my time to fill out your fucking survey.

Any marketer, any data scientist, who tell you that every pizza that gets ordered should also generate a survey request email IS FULL OF SHIT and is ABUSING YOUR CUSTOMERS.

Some dude on my wife’s Facebook just posted “someone explain to me how a hurricane can find a tiny island in the middle of the Caribbean, but half of Americans can’t see how corrupt the Biden family is.”

It’s a perfect representation of the mentality rational people are dealing with here in the US.

I already hate the time change and it’s not even here yet

You really want to get people back to the office? Forget free cocktails. Think free daycare, six month parental leave, 25 days vacation + holidays, extensive carer benefits for those who need them, the expectation that you’ll stay home and rest rather than work if you’re sick, flexible hours, further help with the enormous cost of living in the cities you operate in.

So much going on. So many high stakes that keep getting higher amongst all the BS circling the drain.

As far as I’m concerned it still comes down to this:

You can vote for the 82-year old in 2024 and vote for a younger generation of leaders next time around,

Or you can vote for the 79-year old lunatic rapist in 2024 and never vote again.

Your choice. No matter what it’s a binary one.

Waitin' for people to stop being excited about paying what used to get you a house for an electric car, and start being excited about paying an extra hundred bucks a year in taxes for an amazing transit system.

Electric cars are not going to make it okay to keep living like we do. It was never okay.

The rising cost of living is pushing people out of expensive coastal areas, and the trend doesn't look likely to change in coming years: four in ten Californians and and three in ten New Yorkers say they're considering moving out of state. t.co/Psu2uavsrm t.co/MInX8S94x2

We are just over one year out from 2024 elections.

Can you help us raise $24,000 before our end of month deadline so we can continue our #TakeBackFL tour to mobilize more volunteers and voters on the road next month?

One pretty cool geological fun fact is that the Scottish Highlands, the Appalachians, and the Atlas are the same mountain range, once connected as the Central Pangean Mountains.

If you want a "pure" untouched copy of Mozilla Firefox, one that has not been modified in any way, shape, or form. You really should be obtaining your copy of Mozilla Firefox directly from Mozilla.

Both your distros repositories and Snap or Flatpaks, can be modified by your distro.

Installing Mozilla Firefox is simple enough. But for those who do not know how or who would rather save time, that's why I developed the simple script "Firefox Automatic Install for Linux."

Fun connections.

"Stereotype" is a printer's term. Moveable type is expensive. You don't want to keep it tied up longer than needed, so you make a mould from the set type and cast a plate from that.

The "stereotype" is the mould.

A "cliché" is what the French called plate made from that mould, it's onomatopoeia from the sound of removing the plate from the mould.

"Boilerplate" is widely repeated text from the round stereotype castings of newspaper columns ready to throw on a drum press.
