@zleap by now, people know what they are signing up for. 🙂

Just tested with latest versions, youtube-dl seems confused by peertube 4.0 and can’t download videos

yt-dlp is working fine with peertube urls

Yet another reason to move to #PeerTube or plain old file self-hosting!

📣 We need translators!

We are about to publish the version 2 of #LiberaForms, and we need the help of translators to complete the translations. Any language that is translated more than 90% will be included into the next version.

We are looking specially for Catalan translators to finish up the work of previous translators. French and German translations need to be finished up too.

Thanks to @NGIZero for the help they are giving us

The problem is it's hard to find because a lot of the tech industry types are all about fads and social conformity. Nobody has the balls to get shunned like Eich, ESR, RMS, Terry, or others did. Before Terry died and his history was rewritten in many ways, he was absolutely shat on by HN, Somethingawful, and more sites. They saw him as someone to be shunned completely because he argued with everyone and said the bad words.

It's especially bad when it comes to news aggregating sites that circlejerk around upvotes and username post history. Terminally online losers love their posting history and also use it to win arguments.

@hpr Space. The final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship .... James Webb Space Telescope.

OK better listen to @perloid and @mcnalu as they know what they're talking about.

Yepp. It is a real tragedy that boys suffer under toxic masuline roles as well. Additionally, violent and toxic family dynamics cause violent and toxic families in the future, since children learn what is right and wrong at home, not by teaching but example. An evolutionary advantage of human biology that is going to bite us in the ass.
