<jrb0001> foxcpp: ansible is 7+ minutes for me, and that's just copying files over + restarting stuff if needed. generating all files is a custom tool and takes much less than a second.

@foxcpp If that's your only gripe, you know there are some easy ways to speed up Ansible execution times (mostly related to SSH connections.. "Pipelining": https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/reference_appendices/config.html#ansible-pipelining (admittedly, the documentation for this is spare)

Set "UseDNS" option to "no" on managed hosts -- helps, esp. if you cannot be bothered to set up DNS.
