people treat the US Constitution like the Bible. they hate when people strictly interpret it, but that's somehow never evidence that any of it is just wrong.

@wilkie that sounds backwards. I'd say it's the "strict interpretation" folks who treat the constitution "like a bible" rather than interpreting for our times.
