I've tried the #pinephone now with the latest #postmarketOS and #phosh, and it's considerably less jankey than with KDE Plasma Mobile. It's still kinda jankey, and pretty skeletal, but closer to what I would expect for a "beta" FOSS project on mobile.
also, battery life estimation still seems *really* poorly calibrated, but that's an OS or driver problem I suppose. Guess I'll do some digging

Why is MMS missing? It's been ages since I looked at the specs for MMS - is it that much more difficult than SMS?

mmsd exists and can receive MMS, but chatty can't talk to it yet, and mmsd doesn't work properly if your MMS uses a different APN to your internet service because of NetworkManager

@izaya so it's basically just integration? I'm pretty good at integrating software. Maybe I could actually help with that.
one weird thing is that my portable charger has a button, which I thought was just for turning on status indicator, that turns on the phone. I don't think it works that way for any of my other devices🤔
