@11thJeff I can see that. It's definitely a design decision they had to make to have "boosting" vs something like a Tumblr "reblog". Since you gave me reason to think about it though, I do prefer not to give people any "ownership" over the things they boost, so boosting on its own doesn't reward me socially. It *may* draw some followers if I'm consistently boosting things they find interesting, but for real engagement (and not the kind marketers want) I have to type out my own thoughts. I think that's a good bias.
