i'm trying to play Guild Wars 2 and I am confused D: this is why I don't play RPGs usually b/c all the class/race stuff overwhelms me >_<
@ami_angelwings As an RPG evangelist I feel I should point out that not all RPGs are so crunchy and technical even if MMORPGs totally are. If GW2 is anything like other MMOs there's probably a "correct" build for any given class that one is tacitly expected to look up on a wiki and if one doesn't use that specific build then one is eternally doomed to be treated like a noob. Which of course defeats the entire point of the player being given such a dizzying range of customization options.

@cymaiden that's fair xD this is why I only play City of Heroes b/c appearance is completely independent of your powers and archetype, and I get really antsy when choosing a class/armor/etc impacts how you look

it came back in 2019 after it turned out some fans had the source code and now there's a bunch of different fan servers with the "main" one being Homecoming
