i need to see if i can find a solid guide on how to properly use STM32 and the Discovery boards. i tried attacking the problem today by my usual approach of fucking around and finding out, with some googling along the way, and made some progress, but then i tried adding some official libraries and just got a bunch of build errors.

@lore If you have a spare STM32 blue or black, make it a Black Magic Probe. This is a proper way to use the board and it's incredibly capable. I keep a board flashed with it ready at all times.

So this is definitely worth putting on one of these MCU boards.
