I was asked to rank how good I am at each programming language in an interview. I wasn't exactly prepared for that. What's funny is that there are probably languages I know that I forgot to mention.

@AmpBenzScientist I haven't tried coding in that one but if I'm tasked with doing so, I will somehow know FORTRAN...

@thor It's all but completely dead afaik. Formula Translator is something I never learned in Mathematics, we were using Python and only Python for anything serious.

Python and Java became really important. The only parallel I can think of is Scala & Chisel -> Verilog or VHDL. When DARPA has a really good idea and it just doesn't seem to catch on. It was a really good idea and I don't know why I don't see it in use. I suppose if one is going to Verilog, they will just go full Verilog.
