I love the detail with which an 11thC Spanish craftsman imagined the 6thC world in which St Aemilian tended his sheep as they browsed on foliage:
the #Romanesque arch that frames him, his embroidered tunic & cloak, his horn, crook, the ?lute slung across his shoulder - & his seat on a rolled fleece. Gorgeous, innit. 1/2
