Anybody have a link to good #testing data comparing different models of #n95 #masks #facemasks for #covid prevention?

To be clear, I'm only looking for data comparing different models of (disposable) n95. Not looking for something to 'splain the difference between a surgical mask and an n95 or elastomeric :-)

Text and papers preferred, YouTube is less accessible to me

Thank you very much!

Boosts appreciated!

Aaron Collins(aka Mask Nerd) would be where I'd look. He is on Mastodon(@masknerd) but not so active. @masknerd on twitter. He has a database of mask testing data at:

Thank you! His work is gorgeous, although apparently it's all 2 years old or more, and most of the masks he talks about or not available anymore

A few are, though, and maybe that is enough

I even broke down and watched his last YouTube video. It was from spring 2021, and after doing the mask reviews he says that he's going to be winding down the work, 'because the vaccines are starting to come out now, and so the pandemic's almost over'

Sigh, remember when we all thought that?

Haha, yeah....

I know he teased some more testing a couple weeks ago on his Mastodon account, but I haven't him post any results yet. The good news is you can still get many of those masks. I checked his testing before buying all of our family's masks for a couple of years. Anecdotal, of course, but so far so good.
