After CVS told me Friday that the COVID test I took Thursday was lost, the NC Department of Health emailed me today to inform me that I tested positive on 03/08 and to continue masking through today. The tests I have told me I was negative. The test I took today was almost instantly positive. I’m completely asymptomatic. I was around people at the showroom today, one of whom is pregnant. We are three years into this shit and the authorities still have no fucking clue what they’re doing. 😡
I give you tons of credit for trying to do the right thing, at least. The whole thing's, obviously, a giant mess at this point.
@helplessduck @BE @crashkrispy I don't trust anything the CDC says anymore. I know you'll fret about possibly infecting others, but all you can do at this point is let the establishments know.

@helplessduck @BE @crashkrispy That is awful and makes no sense at all. You can still get free tests, 8 per month via the feds and also state. Doesn't help now, I know. CVS is full of it. There has to be a place that still gives them out.

I want another PCR test. Mom said she tested positive for a couple months after her symptoms were gone. All this information is in conflict with some other piece of information. Gahhh,,

I feel fine. According to the CDC I would be able to carry on with my life as normal as of tomorrow anyway. It’s just too much after everything else over the last two days.
Honestly, I’m sad now I can’t be a part of that select group that never tested positive once this is finally over with. I was going to be one of such a small number. ☹️
@helplessduck @BE You've had quite a week, mister. Seriously, though, maybe not use info JUST from the CDC. There are a number of people even on this app who have more complete REAL LIFE data. You'll get over not being unique, at least in this way. You'll always be unique in many other ways.
