I dunno about y'all but I am checking the site for my local library right now, looking to see if there are ways I can volunteer and help out. I encourage you to do likewise.
They take donations, but the best way aside from cash is to participate. Do you have an active library card? Get one! Drag the kids along, especially if you have readers. Use the library so they can show the value they add to the community. Vote! Defend their funding. Go to their book sales. Engage.
I recently renewed my card, try to visit a couple of times a month. They have books and media you simply can't find elsewhere. I've tried.
