...and speaking of Sugar Babies, they nonetheless came in handy for one Halloween when I wore a shoddy felt hat, a raincoat that looked like a trenchcoat, and a very very VERY long knitted scarf and nonetheless went by the name of Clara, but billed myself as an American time traveler who wouldn't go asking for candy.
I'd simply say "want a Sugar Baby?"
One simply cannot find jelly babies in my neck of the woods. So--the Shada Scarf was produced by a witty little knitter while mine was knitted by Betsy Ross who definitely had an aversion to Brits.
@ClaraListensprechen4 Would gummi bears substitute for jelly babies?

By golly I found the pic from 2013...note ye well the Red White & Blue on each end of the scarf, not intended to reflect the flag of England, mind you.
I daresay that scarf's longer than Tom Baker's was, but that's how angry Betsy Ross gets when you mention the British.
@smellsofbikes
...and then some. Thank you.
@smellsofbikes
Here we go--my implement isn't a sonic screwdriver. Presenting the Ultrasonic Pipe Wrench, and don't you DARE call it a spanner.
@ClaraListensprechen4 I love this
@smellsofbikes
Well hey--that legendary Yankee Ingenuity will beat the British
Every.
Single.
Time.
Betsy Ross will back me up on that. Nostradamus' wife ain't no Betsy Ross--I can guarantee that.
@smellsofbikes
It just occurs to me that you, a gizmo guy, might find another detail of the get-up curious as well.
Tom Baker had a sonic screwdriver. My gizmo was an ultrasonic pipe wrench.
@ClaraListensprechen4 This is a magnificent scarf.
