I do miss QTs.

I understand, I suppose, that they are often used for dunking.

But, for me, I typically use them for boosting. I use them when I boost trans people to an audience that includes a lot of cisgender journalists (or vice versa), to explain why I think the QT is important.

I live between worlds, as a transgender journalist, and see one of my main functions as interpreting those worlds to one another. #journalism #trans

@undefined @e_urq I agree. I'd use quote-tweets just to pass along a message while adding a little more context for my audience. That's normally how I've seen them used. If someone wants to be nasty to the original author, they normally use a screenshot rather than QT.
