Sometimes I feel like the US information landscape & US politics in general is that bar, but it's already infested and now it's too late to kick them out. And they are spreading to Europe and inciting/uniting Antivax/Covidiots and far-right in general

@benborges @scubasteve@infosec.exchange @aral The thing is, that authoritarians/racists/fascists have always had a seat at the table in politics and mass media. They may be getting a bit louder or a bit more antagonistic towards the establishment, but they've always been there.
