I hope you will understand that my point was not that it is "not right to punch someone" (I am no extreme pacifist, mind you). I was merely arguing that it is not a constructive nor a helpful action. It's perhaps subtle, but very important difference if you care for better future. Because future does not end with punching somebody in face. You also need to live with yourself afterwards.
