It uses "AI", cost $18.99/month, is unreliable at working/tracking phone usage and has previously been flagged by Google for how much personal data it collects
@BigAngBlack Why does Mike Johnson feel the need to have this app? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/nov/21/mike-johnson-covenant-eyes-anti-porn-app. Why are all these "Christian men" engaged in such a battle with porn on their cell phones? "In a section on how to control the amount of porn you consume, Covenant Eyes suggests people should “look God in the face”. Elsewhere it offers more belligerent advice: “Pray like you’re at war.”"

They probably don't use it but they want to promote it, to profit from it and/or perpetuate surveillance capitalism alongside authoritarian religious rule
