Third-Party Twitter App Memories
Third-party apps had such a huge impact in early Twitter. From hashtags to retweets to @‘ing someone, much of what came to be the Twitter experience started in third-party apps.
My faves:
Spaz by @funkatron was an Adobe Air app and my first desktop Twitter app.
Twitterific by @chockenberry and other great Iconfactory folks. Twitterific eventually became my default Twitter app on iOS and desktop.

@funkatron @chockenberry @robertsmelser I used Spaz on #webOS back in 2010 on my Palm Pre Plus. About a dozen other Twitter clients on #webOS soon followed.
