My EV6 owner's manual doesn't mention this: can I jump-start another car from the EV6's 12-volt battery?
Googling just gives spam or garbage. I remember when you could find good info on the first page of results.
@smartwatermelon I don’t know for sure, but the 2 electric cars we have - Chevy Volt and Chevy Bolt - are able to jump start another car from their 12-volt batteries.
@GeorgeMari I forgot to start my wife's Niro PHEV while she was away but it was plugged in. So the driving battery is full but the starter battery died.
Seems like the starter battery ought to be able to stay charged if the driving battery is plugged in.
@smartwatermelon Every EV is different in how and when they charge the 12V battery. Check the owner’s manual or online forums for details.
