Guess I'm here now.
I've been extremely online for the last 30 years, give or take. I've had one governing theory through that time: the site owner makes the site's rules, and if I don't like it, I leave.

I've been here a little over a month and it's way better once you get used to the little incongruities.
Just know that you have to do a little more work to curate your feed here; the algorithm doesn't do it for you. Also, there's a culture here of content warnings where appropriate and accessibility features (i.e. image alt text). Takes a little time to get used to, but it's mostly reasonable stuff.
