it's amazing how many favorite a post, but don't repeat. there's no algorithm, or better, you are the algorithm. favorite tells the author, "great!" but doesn't help your followers timelines, at all. i think this is funny, not haha. how passive we have become.

Why do you care more about going viral than you do about people showing appreciation for what you write?
In my mind, both boosts and favorites hold equal appreciative weight.
@LouisIngenthron noone said anything about caring about going viral. if you look at my topics and the types of post i make, just taking, say 10 seconds, you would not say that about me. the quality of our feeds depend on everyone sharing interesting thoughts and finds.

@LouisIngenthron you're trolling now. noone is upset. ActivityPub works best with active users, sharing and posting. less passivity, more sharing. my point was about the passivity. there's central authority amplifying provokative posts. trollish posts that you have posted, for instance.
